This whimsical yet elegant silver pendant is inspired by the quirky fishing villages that are found along Scotland’s East coast.
The pendant has a beautiful subtle frosted finish which echoes the cold wintry landscapes that inspire Eileen’s work, making them truly unique. Eileen likes to use a play on words creating a fun talking point; making these adorable silver fish earrings the perfect gift for anyone’s darling!
The pendant is made from sterling silver. The oval belcher chain and the fish charms are all solid silver, which gives the pendant a lovely weight, reflecting the quality of the piece. Eileen’s work is handmade in Scotland in her own workshop. In accordance with hallmarking regulations, and where applicable by weight, Eileen’s pieces are hallmarked in Edinburgh, and feature the Assay Office’s iconic Edinburgh Castle stamp.
The piece is easy to maintain. Eileen suggests using gold dip which can be purchased at most high street jewellers. Gently clean the surface using a soft tooth brush. Stones and pearls however should not be exposed to silver dip, to avoid surface damage. Pieces should then be rinsed thoroughly with warm soapy water and dried using a soft paper towel.
