Thicket Charm Bracelet
This stunning oxidized silver charm bracelet is inspired by the wonders of the forest and the wildlife that make it their home.
This highly individual piece is a contemporary alternative to traditional charm bracelets. Each charm has been lovingly handcrafted. The bracelet features a hare, a fox, a seed pod, a beehive, a bird and a sumptuous cluster of rowan berries.
Legend has it that hares bring good luck and fertility! The clasp is derived from a rowan tree twig, in folklore it was believed to be very lucky and was used to ward witches away!
Made from solid silver, the bracelet has a lovely weight which reflects the quality of the piece. Timeless and enchanting, this bracelet would make a unique commemorative gift for any occasion. A traditional idea with a modern twist!
This charm bracelet looks great worn on its own, or you can add to it by selecting additional charms. The Worker Bee and the Barn owl charms work particularly well. It can also be teamed up with other matching items such as the Worker Bee Earrings or the Woodland Charm Necklace. The possibilities are endless!
The piece is also available in a plain silver finish.
The piece is made from solid sterling silver, 18ct yellow gold and semi-precious stones. All Eileen’s work is handmade in Scotland in her own workshop. The plain silver option has a unique frosty satin finish which echoes the cold wintry landscapes that influence Eileen’s work. In accordance with hallmarking regulations, and where applicable by weight, Eileen’s pieces are hallmarked in Edinburgh, and feature the Assay Office’s iconic Edinburgh Castle stamp.
Oxidized finishes do not need cleaning and they will fade slightly over time. The plain silver option is also easy to maintain. Eileen suggests using silver dip which can be purchased at most high street jewellers. Gently clean the surface using a soft tooth brush. Stones and pearls however should not be exposed to silver dip, to avoid surface damage. Pieces should then be rinsed thoroughly with warm soapy water and dried using a soft paper towel.
The bracelet is a standard size which is approximately 7.5″ long. Different sizes can be made on request, please enquire by clicking the “Contact us” link at the bottom of the page.
